Get Involved
There are many different ways to get more involved with the Churchill Road PTA. The CRS PTA is a 100% volunteer-run organization — we need you! Our volunteer page includes currently open roles and each of the committees — there's always room for another volunteer! A few programs are highlighted below.
Advocacy
For more than 100 years, the National PTA has worked towards bettering the lives of every child in education, health, and safety. Share your passion for children's education & help advocate on behalf of issues that matter for Churchill Road.
LUNCHROOM MONITORS
Sign up to help out in our lunchroom. It's easy. Simply help kids open various lunch items, and guide them during clean-up and dismissal. It's a great way to help out and visit with your children!

Churchill Road Garden
Families volunteer in our garden, helping to plant, tend, and harvest plants from spring through summer. We donate the harvested food to a local food bank.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Our PTA organizes service programs for our community to give back to others - including our events where students assemble food packages to feed kids in need and our annual holiday drive for our sister school.
Library Program
Help our librarian with book shelving and other tasks in the fantastic Churchill Road library (plus you may be able to volunteer during your child's library time).

Parents join classrooms to engage students with multilingual reading and explore cultural values with activities and artifacts. Help foster curiosity and share your cultural heritage.

This vital program provides volunteer support to our teachers and students - helping to coordinate class parties, special events, parent volunteers, and maintaining open communication among our classroom communities.
Staff AppreciatioN
We have an amazing staff at Churchill Road, and our PTA's Staff Appreciation Committee organizes events to recognize and thank them for their efforts throughout the year.

Yearbook
Our Yearbook Committee helps ensure the fall and spring photo sessions run smoothly, collects pictures throughout the year from class activities, coordinates the cover contest, and produces the annual CRS Yearbook.
